Russia speaks out after Ukraine claims to "damage the Moscow ship"

Reuters reported, Russia on May 14 denied Ukraine's claim that Kiev damaged a modern Moscow logistics ship in the Black Sea. Russia also posted some photos to prove that the ship was not damaged.

The military junta in the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa on May 12 announced that the Kiev navy targeted the Russian ship Vsevolod Bobrov, causing it to catch fire.

However, the Russian Defense Ministry yesterday posted pictures describing the ship on May 14, which was anchored in the Black Sea port of Sevastopol.

"The pictures clearly show that the ship is not damaged," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Last month, the flagship of Russia's Black Sea Fleet, Moskva, sank after encountering a fire. Ukraine claims that it fired missiles at the ship, while Moscow says it sank due to exploding ammunition.
