Ukrainian authorities have issued a warning about mines near the coast of the port city of Odessa.
The city council of Odessa, Ukraine has issued a warning to citizens about the appearance of floating mines near one of the city's shores.
In its statement, the Odessa City Council said: "Located tens of meters from shore, these mines pose no direct threat. Yet again, these mines remind us of them. about the dangers of swimming and other nearshore maritime activities".
The Black Sea port city said the mines would be cleared by special forces but still warned residents that "for your own safety you should not approach beaches and coastlines, use ships or even swimming."
In addition, the Odessa City Council stressed that the threat of missile attacks still exists.
In the opposite direction, the Russian Defense Ministry has just announced that the targets of the Ukrainian army were destroyed by Russian air defense forces yesterday.
Accordingly, six drones were shot down over Ukraine, including one near Snake Island. In addition, one Tochka-U tactical missile and three Ukrainian Smerch missiles were also destroyed.
"Yesterday, Russian rocket and artillery forces hit six checkpoints, 178 points of concentration of troops and combat vehicles, three reinforced bunkers, as well as 28 artillery units, including one Smerch multiple launch rocket system near the settlement of Beryozovka," said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov.
