According to Pushilin, an unspecified number of Ukrainian servicemen may still be hiding under the factory. He said they had a stockpile of food and water, but lacked medicine.


On the other hand, Pushilin said, six Ukrainian servicemen were killed in an unsuccessful attempt to detonate a large weapons depot at the Azovstal factory before surrendering. Four other Ukrainian servicemen were wounded.


"It is not clear who did this, no one has blamed anyone, but after the groups of Ukrainian soldiers surrendered, someone gave the order to detonate the weapons depot. This was done hastily and the order was not clear, so as a result 6 people were killed," Pushilin said.
