How to clean white shirt

This blog post covers how to properly wash and dry white shirts.

It'll be interesting to see how people like it.

**I would like to note that this blog post is only intended for those who own white shirts. I've seen some people complain about cleaning/pre-washing their shirts in the comments below, which is why this post is just for those white shirts. Please don't try to read this post on your red shirts :)**

**If you are wondering why I chose to write this article, here are my reasons. Firstly, I felt it was important to clean white shirts in order to give myself something to talk about. Also, I feel that my white shirts really need this sort of thing because the fabric tends to look dirty after wearing it for some time.**

**Lastly, it's an interesting topic that can actually help you save money because cleaning costs a lot of money.**

**Before I begin, it's important to note that I am just talking about washing white shirts here, so please don't assume I'm talking about ironing, etc.**

STEP 1: The Wash Cycle

There are 3 different wash cycles for your white shirts. The first two are dry cycle options. For these, you basically just rinse the shirts with warm water and let them dry.

The third option is the wet cycle. This is when you use soap and water to wash the shirts. This is the most expensive option because it requires more detergent.

The reason that soap and water works is that it helps lift dirt that's stuck to the shirt. Once the water has washed the dirt off, you can't tell that it even rinsed the dirt off, which makes it the most effective way of cleaning your white shirts.

STEP 2: The Dry Cycle

When using the dry cycle, you only need to rinse the shirts with warm water. This is much cheaper because you're only paying for the water.

There are no special instructions for this option because it's just a regular wash cycle that you do every week.

STEP 3: The Soap Option

This option is where you use soap and hot water. For this option, you need to add a bit of detergent to the washing machine, and then add the laundry detergent to the water.

**To prevent the detergent from coming out in your whites, you can simply put some fabric softener in the water. You can either use a hand or machine method for putting the fabric softener in the water. It's just important to make sure it's mixed in well.**

Another option is to use the liquid detergent (instead of the powder form), which is what I used. It costs a little more but it's not too expensive, especially if you do it every week.

The problem with using soap and water is that it can stain your whites, but I don't mind. If I do happen to have stains, they are easy to remove once the laundry's done.
