Ms. Nguyen Phuong Nga said that in 2022, VUFO's people-to-people diplomacy activities will become more and more in-depth, effective, practical and comprehensive in all fields. With 3 neighboring partners sharing the same border as China, Laos and Cambodia, VUFO has achieved many positive achievements, such as supporting the visit to China of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; actively participate in building the program of the Year of Solidarity and Friendship with Laos and the Year of Solidarity with Cambodia.
In addition, in the past year, VUFO has also successfully organized many major commemorative activities with important partners such as the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - India relations, 30 years of Vietnam - Korea relations. In addition to actively participating and having good results in activities of senior leaders visiting countries, VUFO also actively participates in welcoming high-level delegations to visit Vietnam.
In the multilateral work in 2022, Vietnam has hosted the 22nd Congress of the World Peace Council and VUFO has contributed to the organization of this important event.
In foreign NGO work, in the challenging context of 2022, VUFO has secured the same amount of aid as the previous year, nearly 230 million USD. Foreign organizations are committed to continue accompanying Vietnam in promoting the implementation of sustainable development goals and the program of economic and social development of Vietnam.
