On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine accused the Russian army of conducting several raids in 16 settlements in three provinces of the country on February 16.

"In the past day, the enemy has launched a total of 41 missiles of various types into our territory. Five of them are S-300 air defense missiles improved to hit ground targets hit. hit the Kharkov area. Ukraine's air defenses shot down 16 missiles," confirmed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukraine's military also revealed that Russia carried out 24 airstrikes and more than 50 rocket-propelled artillery attacks, leaving human consequences in some areas of the country.

"The enemy is still focusing its offensive efforts on the eastern regions of Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtask," the Ukrainian military said in a statement.

In order to maintain communications for the combat forces in Ukraine, the Russian military is said to have erected an additional communication tower in the city of Melitopol. The tower also helps Russian security services gather intelligence from calls in the area.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the country's defense forces are still holding the battlefield and repelling all attacks of the Russian army.
