Chinese President Xi Jinping is planning to travel to Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin next week, Reuters reported.

Reuters quoted unnamed sources on March 13 as saying that the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Russia is expected to take place next week. The Chinese leader is expected to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On the same day, the Wall Street Journal reported that Xi Jinping will attend an online meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Neither Russia, Ukraine nor China have confirmed the above information.

On March 10, China's National People's Congress unanimously elects Xi Jinping as President of the People's Republic of China. This is his third term in this position. Xi was also elected chairman of China's Central Military Commission for a third term.

Last week, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia did not announce the date of the visit of the Chinese President because no specific information has been confirmed.

"So far, we have no information to publish on this topic. All visits of foreign guests to Russia are notified in a timely manner," Peskov told TASS news agency.
